What To Wear To Thanksgiving

Nov 26, 2019

Good morning friends!

Has this week not absolutely flown by? We had a busy weekend and that seems to have just flown over into our week. Today is Zain’s last day at school for the week and I am trying to wrap up everything at home and with work before we host Thanksgiving! It’s our first time hosting in our house and I am both excited and slightly overwhelmed I haven’t done everything I need to 😉 Luckily, our Thanksgiving is very low key and relaxed so there isn’t much to stress about.

I thought I would share a few quick outfit ideas for the holiday in case you are looking for some inspiration. Even if you don’t have these exact pieces, I think they are all easy to recreate with something similar from your own wardrobe.

what to wear to thanksgiving

Turtleneck: Everlane – my favorite substantial turtleneck! I own this in a few colors but have been so into chocolate browns this season. It runs TTS, I’m wearing a small and is great to dress up too. | Jeans: AGolde – my favorite boyfriend jean by far! Not a ton of stretch so I went TTS but if in between, I would size up. | Mules: Splendid | Headband: H&M

faux leather leggings

Tunic: Free People – I have wanted this for years and finally snagged two last week because they were on sale! It runs very oversized so I would size down. I grabbed a small and XS and think I’ll keep both. | Leggings: Commando (also here & here) – my favorite faux leather leggings. Prefer these over the Spanx because of the matte texture. They are high waisted and control top! Run very small so size up. | Boots:  Shopbop – these have quickly become my most worn boots over the past few years. I love the casual heigh of the heel and that I can easily dress them up or down.

leopard skirt

Sweater: Nordstrom | Skirt: Sanctuary – another piece I wear all year constantly. I loved the print on this and the elastic waistband is lovely. I always size up in skirts so they are not too clingy. | Heels: Sam Edelman

Stay tuned for a guy’s gift guide tomorrow and hope you are all gearing up for a fun and relaxing holiday!
