Good morning friends and Happy Thanksgiving!
I can’t believe I am even typing those words and that it is already the end of November. If you follow along with us on social you know we just got home from Disney late last night and I am incredibly thankful to be waking up in my own bed with my laptop and a hot cup of coffee with my own creamer. I kid you not, I miss this Ember mug and my own creamer the most when I travel and I don’t know what that says about me.
I have more to fill you in on from our trip but overall I was proven wrong. I expected it to be chaotic and overstimulating and it instead was magical for my children, forced me to slow down with them, and honestly allowed me to remember how tiny my babies still are and how much they need me. As crazy as it sounds, it made me more patient and I’m really thankful for the experience.
We are headed to my parents today for a very low key celebration in lounge clothes, my dream! It’s just us and we can lounge over there all day and watch a few movies. I hope you are all celebrating somewhere with people you care about and love and staying safe and healthy.
A quick note before we get into this post, please do not feel pressured to shop sales if you didn’t intend to. I always try to go into sales with a list of what holes I need to fill whether it’s things for my kids, myself, or gifts for other people and stick to it. Then I don’t get wound up in random buys I’ll regret!
