Dress: Madewell | Shoes: Nordstrom (love these for summer) | Handbag: Clare Vivier | Necklace: Etsy (I have rarely taken this off since I had Zain and the quality is amazing!) | Lips: NARS
I can’t believe January has come and gone.
Didn’t that seem to fly by? I actually have had a lot of people ask me about my plans for Zain’s first birthday lately and I can’t believe I’m supposed to be thinking about that and more so, that it’s only 4 months away!
This week has been a great one so far. I think the sun shining has greatly improved my mood and I have actually been getting a ton of work done. We had a play date yesterday with Magnus and those always make me happy. Lauren and Magnus came over and we played for a bit over here, although he’s totally mobile and made me realize how much baby proofing I need to do and then walked to lunch. I feel like I visited Fairgrounds weekly back in the summer and hadn’t been there in so long. I love their food and their kombucha on tap is really good too!
Today’s post is one that fondly reminds me of the past month and our family trip to Cabo. I bought this dress as soon as I saw it pop up online because nothing is better for vacation and summer time and than a loose dress with cute stripes and embroidery. It’s a good length that didn’t feel too short and the material is really breathable (sometimes I get worried long sleeves will drive me nuts in heat!)
I paired it with one of my favorite pairs of flats for summer (they’re currently on sale) and Trevor and I headed out for our last date night in Mexico. We had really debated going to Flora Farms but ended up staying at the resort and I’m so glad we did. Our last meal at Oceana was delicious and it was just no stress or fuss.
Hope you guys all enjoy this last day of the month!
Love this tunic dress and sandals! This is the perfect spring look!!
