Happy Monday friends!

I am trying to hit the ground running this week. I am headed out of town on Thursday and we may be heading out of town again next weekend so I’m trying to be as productive as possible and get ahead on work.

I’ve been working on my New Year ‘goals’ for the past several months and now that I’ve actually made some progress and improved a few things I was hoping to I thought I would share how I went about it and how it’s changed my life for the better.

I mentioned my time management issues back in January and I can now safely say I’ve MUCH improved. I have talked about the ‘Khanxiety’ that plagues my family and my time management was contributing to a lot of it. I told Trevor I didn’t know why I was self sabotaging. I hate being late, it makes me extremely anxious and in a state of frenzy I do not enjoy. I’m not sure why I was so bad at managing time, realizing a realistic amount of time I needed to get ready and continued to torture myself.

So, starting in January I started mentally giving myself 30 extra minutes to get ready to head somewhere and I will say that it has greatly improved my life. I’m no longer running into workout classes, sprinting out the door or speeding to get somewhere on time. It honestly has made a big difference in my life and it got me thinking how easy these little fixes are if we just prepare our mind for them.

I know it may sound trivial but I really encourage you guys to change the little things that you aren’t happy with because I think it will make more of a difference than you think! However, don’t hold me to never being late again but I am doing a much better job.

On a fashion note, I am in love with these wide leg pants! You know I have not hid my love for culottes, wide leg pants…all of it. When Madewell released this version I jumped on them. I LOVE this color and the fit is impeccable and so comfy. I actually ordered down in size and thought they fit perfectly. I paired them with heels (even though I think they look great with mules and flats) and this adorable tie front tee

I hope you guys are having a great start to your week!
