I’m sure you have seen tie front tops everywhere recently. I feel like they are just another play on a popular 90’s trend resurfacing. Am I the only one that remembers tying up your neon colored tees with those plastic rings in middle school? I can’t be. Those things gave me life and I’m equally excited to see these back especially post baby. 

I’ve purchased a few different versions of the trend for summer and fall and have been experimenting with how to wear them. Since this top was a little cropped and on the boxy side I wanted to keep it paired with something that elongated my bottom half and had a bit of a high waist. Stick to darker washes and a good pair of heels to help you with that. 

When it comes to the longer, more fitted versions like this sweatshirt I snagged you can have a bit more fun. I plan on pairing this with boyfriend jean shorts when the temperatures start dropping and some boxier laid back jeans and boots come fall. I think the most important thing to remember is to keep it classic on the bottom since these tops are so trendy and play up whatever shape your top is. 

I threw this outfit on last week to head out on date night with Trevor and these jeans are one of my favorite buys for fall. They are high waisted, insanely stretchy and have this fun asymmetrical detailing at the cuff. I paired them with a new tie front top and these fun tiered earrings. I know I had mentioned during the anniversary sale how much I was loving tie front tops and the obsession continues. They are so cute for fall and are perfect for a post baby body.
