happy monday everyone! i seriously can’t believe it’s already time to go back to work. we had a great weekend that just seemed to fly by. i got to catch up with some great high school friends, eat at some delicious spots (Ming Hin in chinatown, Publican Quality Meats in the west loop, & Rangoli by us), & enjoy the beautiful weather! we had been to The Publican but never the deli shop and it was so nice to arrive on a sunday at noon have no wait and enjoy maybe the best chicken parm sandwich i’ve ever had on their patio. i had a full day of meetings & appointments yesterday but enjoyed the break of grabbing lunch with trevor and shooting this look.

if you haven’t already heard the buzz around Popbasic i’m happy you will get the news here. Popbasic releases limited edition micro collections that always tackle basics in an effortless way. the premise behind the brand is to build staples into a wardrobe which for me is a need. i tend to always gravitate to really unique pieces and never have basics to pair them with. you can pre-order before a collection is released and browse through previous collections like this one to get an idea of the aesthetic. i loved the Wanderlust Collection and have had a hard time getting away from this tee, especially with the influx of this fall weather. my full collection included this tee, necklace, and a comfy cardigan which are all easy to integrate into your wardrobe. for those who don’t want all the accessories you always have the option of purchasing just a single piece.

i’ve been pairing this stripe tee & necklace with my distressed jeans but decided to dress up the casual tee for this look. i love a fall mini while you can still get away with it & had some fabulous hair left over from a shoot i did earlier in the morning. together with some neutral lips, the drifter necklace, & some killer heels i loved the way it meshed together.

let me know how you like the collections & if you need any info about Popbasic, i’m a huge fan for real.

xox,

shaheen
