I finally got my hands on a long grey cardigan and it paired perfectly with this new stripe shirt. I have been lusting after a long ‘grandpa’ sweater for quite some time but was trying to hold out for a sale find. This BB Dakota sweater is thick and so comfortable – not itchy at all (which I’m always worried about) and I love the big pockets on each side.

I’ve been layering it over everything from plain tanks and tees to button down shirts like this one. I can’t wait for it to warm up just a tiny bit because I plan to throw it on over summer dresses and with short skirts and tops! It’s such an easy piece to layer during every season so I highly recommend trying to snag one now when they are on sale.

These jeans are also a new brand for me but I wanted a reasonably priced pair of blue jeans that were high waisted and not super distressed. The winter here keeps getting more brutal and full length jeans with no rips are surprisingly something I don’t own but desperately need. I did a ton of research and read great reviews on this brand, Cheap Monday. I actually love the way they fit and could have probably ordered them a tiny bit shorter but I like to cuff the bottoms when it’s warmer out. They run fairly true to size but if you are in between I would size down!

I paired everything together to meet some friends for lunch downtown and am hoping that Spring is near despite this potential blizzard today! Hope you guys are having a wonderful week!
