I’m so excited to share today’s post with y’all! I’ve teamed up with American Eagle as part of their #AerieREAL campaign to showcase their comfy and chic basics while encouraging women to embrace their differences.

Any girl can feel a little insecure and I love how American Eagle chose to embrace all body types, ethnicity’s and personalities in a loving and encouraging way. It’s so refreshing to open up a magazine and see a real girl untouched and remind us all to be a little less critical of ourselves. It’s so important for us to remember that we are enough and embrace whatever we may view as ‘flaws’ and remember those things are probably something others value. We have all had those days where we wanted to change something about ourselves but you grow to appreciate you differences and I admire American Eagle for supporting that.

I will say I’ve been drawn to all of their basics lately! Casual tee’s, tanks and ripped jeans are right up my alley but I couldn’t resist this striped shirt dress. I’ve worn it everywhere from the beach to brunch and always get asked about it. Bows aren’t really my thing but I loved tying the belt around backwards and doing a fun knot with it. I paired it with some of my summer favorites like this panama hat and espadrilles. Although the past few days have felt like fall in Chicago I’m not ready to let go yet. The forecast is showing 80’s all next week and I’m happy to hang on to a little more warmth!
