What are your summer staples? I feel like despite seasons and trends changing my seasonal staples stay the same. Much of my summer is spent in light dresses, jeans and tanks and flats making this stripe linen dress is a dream come true. On occasion, I find a pair of heels that are comfortable and can be casual & dressy at the same  time and this season these are definitely them. I’m so glad chunky heels are back mainly for my comfort & these feel like you aren’t even wearing a heel. The lace up is surprisingly easy to get in and out of & the wooden heel makes them feel so much more casual. I have been wearing them with everything from dressier pieces to daytime looks.

I have to be honest, I was totally unsure about this stripe linen dress when I ordered it. I love the tie waist detail but as a girl who is curvy and has the widest part of her at her hips I was scared this would accentuate that and I may hate it. I am happy to report it didn’t make me feel that way at all and I think it is something that can be flattering on everyone no matter your shape or size. I love the light airy feeling of the linen and the slits on the side make it easy to walk in and feel breathable.

I think it could be dressed up or down making it so versatile for the summer and I highly recommend it – especially at this price! Hope you guys had an amazing weekend and are surviving this Monday!
