SHOP THE POST:
dress: Uniqlo (c/o) | booties: Kenneth Cole (similar) | backpack: Vera Bradley (c/o) | bracelet & necklaces: Michelle Starbuck | lips: Nars
this plaid dress is so comfortable but i am going to be honest i wondered if i looked ‘amish chic’ before i left the house. i can’t deny it’s a lot of plaid but once i got out and continued to get compliments on it i felt a bit better in my choice hah. it comes extremely over sized so i would definitely size down and use the waist tie to create as much shape as you want! since the pattern if so bold i would definitely roll up the sleeves and not pair it with tights!
i was excited to add a pop of color with my lipstick and these oxblood boots. i am constantly on the hunt for a similar pair to these old ones and think these TOMS are the best i’ve found. i joined some lady friends at Presidio for a fall dinner and loved the new winter cocktails! if you are in the bucktown neighborhood definitely stop by!
stay tuned for a new holiday shop post later this week and happy hump day!
Definitely not Amish chic haha! I love the long shirtdress style, but I’ve always been hesitant that it’ll overwhelm me (5’3 here!) I love the way you styled the dress though, especially with your oxblood boots.

Haha… amish chic… I love it!! That might be the best comparison I’ve ever heard! This dress is fun, I feel like it’s something you can layer all fall long! Hope to see you soon lady! 🙂
