My Sephora Must Haves

Apr 14, 2023

Good morning and HELLO FRIDAY

The weather has been glorious here this week boosting everyone’s mood and making me realize what an insane difference sunshine makes in my attitude. Today is my day home with Zahra so I’m hoping we can make a playground and lunch happen – this is my last year home with her on Friday’s so I’m trying to soak it up as much as I can.

As for today’s blog post, I wanted to share my must haves from Sephora since the big sale launched today. Everything included below is a product I use and love and if I forget something let me know. Most of these personal favorites have been around forever but if something seems new to you or you need more details just send me a DM!

I have perfected my 5 minute makeup routine and hardly veer from it. The majority of my products are Merit whom never hosts sales so if there is something you have been wanting to try – grab it now!

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen

You all know I use this everyday either in the Unseen or Glow Screen form if I need some added color. It’s clean, light, not oily, and leaves no residue which I love.

Merit Complexion Stick

Shade: Khaki

I love this thing! If you know me, you know I don’t ever wear foundation and hate the feeling of a thick matte on my face but this is light and airy and basically feels like a CC cream. You can build the intensity if you are looking for heavier coverage which is great but it doesn’t get oily or wear all day.

Merit Blending Brush

Okay, I won’t lie watching people use this brush is what made me finally purchase. I’ve been using the same brush for years and thought this looked like it blended perfectly. I was correct! I love using this thing, it’s so soft and works so incredibly well. I now only own about 3 brushes so it will help you minimize as well!

Merit Flush Balm

Shade: Cheeky

Another highlight of my purchase! I love the shape of this which makes applying it so easy, subtle but gorgeous and mine lasts all day. My go-to shade is above but I now own several and love every one.

Merit Highlighter

Shade: Bounce

Merit Lip Oil

Love these for a fresh glossy look and mine hold well all day! I own a few shades and have been happy with all of them.

Anastasia Brow Freeze

I shared an entire Reel on this product alone because I think it makes such a big difference – highly recommend!

Urban Decay All Nighter

I’ve owned this for years and spray it on whenever I need to makeup to last – it holds so well.

You know I am a Sunday Riley fangirl so this is a great time to snag any of their products!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

My current go to moisturizer – I’m on my second bottle and think it provides the perfect amount of moisture without being heavy.

Sunday Riley C.E.O Glow and A+ Retinoid are my top two!

Can’t go wrong with either depending on your needs and I would definitely start out with the Retinol every few days or so.

Auto Correct

This is a newer acquisition but I like using it before I do my makeup for an instant wake up!

First Aid Bump Eraser

I have been using this for the KP on my arms forever and think it works really well. I would also start with only using this every few days!

L’occitane Almond Shower Oil

If you haven’t heard me go on and on about this before then you must be new 😉 This stuff is magic and probably the only product Trevor will order on his own. It is so incredibly moisturizing that you don’t need lotion after your shower. I lather on after cleansing and rinse off – bonus that it smells like heaven.

My T3 flat iron and hair dryer are both included and I’ve owned both for years and never had issues! Stand behind the flat iron doing little damage to my hair and I love that the dryer has a cool setting which I use often.

Hope this is helpful and you all have an amazing weekend!
