My Hairitage Story

Thank you to Pantene for sponsoring this post!

Good morning friends!

I am so excited to be back with one of my favorite brand partners, Pantene! You all know we have been loyal fans around here for years and always come back to their different blends. I personally like switching up my blend every few months because my hair is so thin, I feel it build up after some time.

When they reached out about this project I was more than ecstatic to jump on board. They are providing a spotlight on each of our hair journey’s and how our culture and heritage inspired the routine we have now. Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection is made of ingredient blends inspired by cultures from around the world.

As you all know, my parents are Indian born and immigrated to the United States later in life. As a first generation child I have so many aspects of my upbringing and culture that mean so much to me, especially as an adult. My hair washing was always something my mom and I did together along with every cultural trick in the book to make it thicker.

From henna treatments to coconut oil soaks I still use versions of them in my current life. The Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection has a new line that gives me all the moisturizing nourishment my coconut oil soaks would with my mom! The Hydrating Glow Shampoo With Baobab Essence, Hydrating Glow Conditioner With Baobab Essence, and Hydrating Glow Thirsty Ends Milk To Water Serum With Baobab Essence smell like absolute heaven and get the job done. I love using the Serum on my ends and have noticed way less split ends since doing so.

I loved reminiscing on my hair journey with my mom and hope you enjoy some of these throwback pictures. These campaigns and their focus are another reason why I love Pantene so much! Let me know if you have any questions at all about the products!
