A Cinco De Mayo Mocktail

Well, after trying to get pregnant for so long I thought I would never care about giving up sushi and alcohol. In an interesting turn of events, that seems to not be the case haha! As summer rolls around, I am so thrilled that I am delivering in June and will be able to enjoy the rest of the summer with my little family enjoying cheese and cocktails. I don’t even like beer and the one day it was 70 degrees In Chicago I kept seeing people on patio’s enjoying a beer and I was drooling

Most restaurants are happy to whip up a mocktail for you but after trying a few I started to pass. They never tasted that great and were loaded with sugar so I thought, what’s the use? However, with Cinco de Mayo coming up and it being one of my favorite holiday’s I really wanted to create a fun Cinco de Mayo mocktail for dinner. We usually do a taco night at home and I make some homemade salsa verde tacos, guacamole and salsa and thought the sound of grapefruit went perfectly!

Favorite Cinco de Mayo Dresses:

I’ve shared a Paloma recipe before because I love the flavors and have even gotten Trevor on the bandwagon. If you are hosting a shindig or headed somewhere fun, this is easy to batch prepare in an alcoholic and non alcoholic version to accommodate everyone!

What are some of your favorite non alcoholic drinks?
