Well, after trying to get pregnant for so long I thought I would never care about giving up sushi and alcohol. In an interesting turn of events, that seems to not be the case haha! As summer rolls around, I am so thrilled that I am delivering in June and will be able to enjoy the rest of the summer with my little family enjoying cheese and cocktails. I don’t even like beer and the one day it was 70 degrees In Chicago I kept seeing people on patio’s enjoying a beer and I was drooling!
Most restaurants are happy to whip up a mocktail for you but after trying a few I started to pass. They never tasted that great and were loaded with sugar so I thought, what’s the use? However, with Cinco de Mayo coming up and it being one of my favorite holiday’s I really wanted to create a fun Cinco de Mayo mocktail for dinner. We usually do a taco night at home and I make some homemade salsa verde tacos, guacamole and salsa and thought the sound of grapefruit went perfectly!
Favorite Cinco de Mayo Dresses:
I’ve shared a Paloma recipe before because I love the flavors and have even gotten Trevor on the bandwagon. If you are hosting a shindig or headed somewhere fun, this is easy to batch prepare in an alcoholic and non alcoholic version to accommodate everyone!
What are some of your favorite non alcoholic drinks?
Favorite Cocktail Essentials:
