My buddy 🙂

Good morning friends!

Man, it’s been a long time since I’ve written one of these and since I had so much random stuff I wanted to share with you all I figured it was time. First off, thank you all so much for all your help and suggestions over on Instagram. I’ve been asking for recommendations on everything and anything and been getting the most thoughtful and helpful answers. I’m sharing a lot of your responses below since the lists were so long!

Getting Dressed

I’ve been making an effort to get myself dressed even on my work from home and Zain days. Being pregnant can easily get me into a leggings and sweatshirt funk (which I love) but it feels good to put real clothes on when I’m working at home and generally makes me more productive.

Zain Boo

This child is growing like a weed and looking more like a teenager every day 🙁 He had a Royal Ball at school a few weeks ago and like any good Indian mom I sent him in a Kurta since we don’t have any prince costumes. I wasn’t sure if he would wear it but I almost died when I arrived and saw him running around in it with his hands in his little pockets!

At Home Dermaplaning

I love the title of this because really I asked you all over on Instagram if you shaved your face and many of you said it sounded better this way, ha! I recently ordered these razors after watching 10,000 videos and reading up on the idea.

I wanted to hear from all of you with personal experience and can I say I was blown away with the feedback. SO many of you have been doing this for ages and almost every ounce of feedback was positive. Benefits such as skin turnover, makeup applying smoother and skin being clearer were the most popular.

I also wanted to garner thoughts from fellow dark haired girls and I was pleasantly surprised that none of you had adverse reactions so I went for it! It’s actually been a few weeks since I first did it and I have been ecstatic with the outcome. My hair has not grown back very quickly or in a weird consistency and I love the way it feels.

My hair growth is also in overdrive during pregnancy so this is a great way to keep everything under control since I can’t laser yet!

People did recommend to switch these out very frequently as they can dull, be very careful while using them and a few of you said you also loved these! Hope that helps and if you have any other questions just let me know!

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and the rain holds off a little longer! I am still working on putting together a giant list of Asheville recommendations. We are tentatively planning on heading there next week so I may wait to share our experience in conjunction with all of your suggestions!

Can I ask which razors you ended up using? I tried the twink ones ages ago and couldn’t seem to get the hang of it. I have plenty of nice Gillette razors for my body. Could I use a fresh one of those? Am I crazy?

I used the Tinkle ones! I probably wouldn’t use a body razor for it…the Gillette ones I linked are for the face and pretty inexpensive so maybe try those out!
