SHOP THE POST:
I know I’ve mentioned before that my style has changed and I see myself gravitating more towards basics but this is one of those times I said I long for a fun print. As soon as I saw this Ann Taylor gingham set in the look book I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I was so bummed I wasn’t making it home for Derby because this would have been perfect with a cute hat.
I love how muted the print is and that I can wear either piece together or separate! I ordered true to size on the shorts but would recommend ordering down for the top. It’s super roomy and you can cinch it in a bit at the waist. Ann Taylor has been killing it with their new line and I’m already lusting after this midi dress and some of these richer colors.
I wore it out for dinner one night in Denver and loved making it a bit more casual with my lace up flats. If you haven’t checked them out I highly suggest it- so comfy and super affordable. What prints have you guys been loving for summer?
I also started wearing this Fossil Q while I was in Denver. I had debated wearing some type of fitness tracker forever but never really like the way they looked. I loved the color of this rose gold one and how it looked just like a bracelet. It was pretty easy to charge and then sync to my app and I didn’t have any issues with data. I was a little scared about staining since some reviews said the real leather would discolor easily but I wore it constantly and didn’t notice any marking! If you are in the market I recommend it for basic tracking like I was interested in.
I’m finally starting to feel back to myself after that crazy trip home from Denver and an insane day at work on Friday. The weekend was a great time to reset and Trevor and I had one of the best day date’s we’ve ever had at New City and I can’t wait to share more with you guys later this week. Stay tuned for a fun Denver weekend guide too next week!
