With all the nursery progress going on, I’ve been trying to add greenery all around our space. Ever since I grabbed Henry (the plant next to my desk) and realized I wasn’t killing him, I have been in love with adding more plants around our home. I had always been intimidated by keeping things alive since most succulents I had owned died a sad and painless death. Once I did a bit of research and found plants that didn’t need my constant TLC, it was smooth sailing.
I thought I would share a few easy ways I have spruced up our space and if you are looking for specific plant types that are easy to keep alive, check out this post!
Add plants to fun stoneware: I love dressing up a fun piece of pottery with a little greenery. Little snake plants and cacti are perfect depending on the size and can add a fun touch to any desk or side table.
Use a single Philodendron leaf in a vase next to your computer or bed: These leaves are gorgeous, bold and so easy to care for. I think they look great in a small flower vase anywhere in the house, but especially on a bedside table!
Create a vertical garden: If you are feeling more bold, go for it! It is one of my summer goals to get some type of vertical garden going on our patio but we will see how that goes once Baby T arrives!
How do you guys add greenery to your space? I think it makes such a difference and can’t wait to show you what pieces I included in the nursery!
So gorg, lady! Happy Monday!
Thanks Jenn!
Cute outfit! One of my goals this year is to add more plants around our home. I’ve sort of been putting it off so far in lieu of some other projects. It will happen though! I think. 😉
Thank you Britney! Oh you definitely should it makes our house so much more cozy I think!
This dress is flawless on you! We have been wanting to add some plants inside our home too! Such a cute touch!
Aww, thank you Shannon! It’s such an easy way to brighten the space!
