With the summer heat in full swing around here, I thought it would be the perfect time to round up some of my summer favorites! My post baby body has required some shopping and along the way I’ve found some super cute and affordable stuff. Who knew I was so into spaghetti straps? Sadly, while nursing they are almost impossible for me to wear so searching for cute summer pieces that are sleeveless without requiring a strapless bra has been crucial! 

I also rarely find myself in heels anymore, even block ones. I wore my tried and true nude heels to Trevor’s graduation dinner and by the end of the night I thought I may fall over. It hasn’t been that long but I think I forgot what they felt like. Anyone else? Since my sneaker game has become much more regular I have been searching for some cute new additions. I loved this new Adidas style and although I’m a creature of habit and always go for a nude or black and white shoe, they have some cute colors for you daring ladies! 

I have also been stocking up on some cute accessories since so many of the new pieces I’m picking up are staples. This chain Baublebar necklace is one of my favorites and I haven’t snagged these sunglasses yet but they are in my cart. What do we think? What pieces are you guys being drawn to this summer? 

I hope you all have some fun plans for this week! Trevor is sadly on call next week so I am heading back to Louisville to visit family this weekend and have been busy getting ready for that. If you have any tips for driving with a newborn, send them my way! I am a little nervous about it but my mom will be with us thank goodness!
