How was everyone’s weekend? As you can probably tell by the lack of post yesterday, mine was busy. Not a lot of plans but I tried to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible with Zain and work really just got away from me!
We knew we wanted to live in this area before we moved but I can’t tell you what a blessing it has been. We walk to the park, coffee shops, stores and anything else you can imagine daily and it still has such a city feel. It’s also lovely that so many people we are friends with live in the area so we are always stopping by or having people come by our house. It’s the best neighborhood feeling and I’m just so thankful Zain can experience that.
My parent’s came over Sunday for lunch and we decided to walk to an Indian buffet on Bardstown Rd. No surprise but Zain very much enjoyed it 😉 After stuffing ourselves we played with water in the backyard and really just lounged around. Isn’t that why summer is so wonderful?
I also had a design meeting with Kari on Friday so some new house updates are coming your way soon and today I thought I would share a new style trend I’m into. Does everyone remember the culottes from college (I’m aging myself) that were stretchy and had the tie at the waist? Just me. Oh okay.
In all seriousness much of the 90’s is back and wide leg pants and jeans are something I can get on board with. Since I’m a curvier on the bottom I wasn’t sure this was going to be for me but I have fallen in love with these Everlane pants and much like the rest of their collection, they are perfection.
I’ve seen just about every body type rocking these and they look great on everyone! The white may be my favorite but I just added the dark green to my cart since I think they will be great in the fall. I paired it with a lace cami and heels for a date night with Trevor at Fork & Barrel but have been wearing them with tee’s and casual tanks and flats all the time.
Hope you guys are having a great start to your Tuesday!
I am completely stumped at what bra or support to wear with these cami tops? Suggestions please!
I am just wearing a traditional strapless bra here since this one doesn’t cut too far down on the sides! I know lot’s of friend’s also use those petals but I haven’t tried them yet!
Will try out the strapless – I would love to know a best of strapless options, with spring around the corner (wishful thinking) cami’s will be all the rage. I’m in the market for the perfect one. I’ve eyed those petals a few times, can’t bring myself to buy em.
Great idea, just added that to the calendar for this month! Yea, I’m with you I don’t think I could ever do it haha.
