is anyone else as excited as i am that it’s going to be in the 50’s today?!? let’s all hope that this velvet blazer is the last we see of cold weather accessories on the blog. to be honest, it was a milestone to plan an outfit without a large overcoat for once :/

i hope you are all having a happy monday thus far & enjoyed your weekend. my in-laws came to visit for the weekend and family time is always a good thing. ten games of scrabble, scattegories, and some competitive family yelling and it’s gone in a flash!

i was excited to get back into some white jeans for this, the gloomy weather and freezing temps haven’t had me excited about them lately but i loved pairing them with this velvet j.crew blazer. this blazer was a random find years ago (maybe 8?) at the j.crew outlet and it still sells today. i love the details on the buttons and it’s such a classic piece you can pair it with almost anything! i usually choose to pair blazers with tees or tanks to give it a more relaxed look but this would be adorable with an oxford or some lace detailing.

now, the booties!!! these were a major find at a local boutique but i linked them above and they’re on sale for $32! i had been waiting all season for booties to go on sale because they’re a shoe i wanna wear daily and although it sounds weird i don’t want to spend a ton on something i’ll be wearing into the ground. they come in a few different shades so enjoy & i’ll cross my fingers they have your size!
