Morning from Lake Geneva guys!
We have been thoroughly enjoying our time here and for everyone asking about our rental (it’s so cute, right?) I will be sharing photos from our trip and all the details on where we stayed next week so stay tuned.
As for today, I am excited because we are doing something a little different around here! I hope you guys enjoy it because Jess and I were thinking of doing this more often once I move. PS: are you all following Jess from The Golden Girl Blog? Surely you are! If you aren’t, I’m not sure what you are waiting on. She is one of my best friends but beyond that her blog is one of my favorites to read and she always gives a much needed dose of real life! #coffeecuppolice
We are going to show you all more than one way to style a single piece and since we will soon be in different cities (wahhhhhh!) we thought it would be fun to keep it going. It will hopefully help you all find more inspiration for an outfit and allow us to feel like we are still working together in a coffee shop.
Today we are going to be showing you all two ways to style this insanely adorable white dress. I don’t know about you all but white dresses are a staple in my summer wardrobe. I own way too many and think they can be dressed up or down so easily. I know I’ve talked about this before but dresses are so much easier for me to grab and wear with a pair of flats than throwing together shorts and a top.
Aside from the adorable silhouette and fit, I love the detailing of this dress. The little cutout areas with lace inset are so dreamy and it’s nice that the shoulder ties are adjustable so you can get the fit just right. I decided to dress mine up a bit since we were headed out on date night while Trevor’s parents were in town that night. These cork heels are the exact same pair as my nude ones (I told you I love this shoe) and these earrings are a fun addition. I don’t wear big earrings often but when I do I always turn to Baublebar. Their earrings are always lightweight and affordable so it’s easy to switch them up every so often.
I told Jess I was going to take a fancier approach so she tackled a casual everyday look and did it with perfection. It’s so funny because we really do have some many of the same items of clothing in our closets but always wear them in such different ways!
Hope you are all having an amazing week! I can’t wait to share more from Lake Geneva when we get back and thank you again for all the amazing recommendations!
Here’s a sneak peek of how Jess styled the dress for everyday and make sure you hop over to her blog to see it!
