well, i’m wearing a skort & crop top like i did when i was ten only difference is this one doesn’t have my little pony on it.

it seems like the 90’s are back with a vengeance & i can’t say i’m upset about it. i ask myself why i ever stopped wearing skorts? they’re so easy, comfortable, & rid all the normal worries of wearing a skirt (especially the wind factor here). i loved the satin feel of this little topshop number and thought it would be perfect to pair with a crop top. since it’s high waisted i went with a more boxy top…this made sure very little skin showed (which this old lady prefers) and felt effortless.

these heels are my go-to from zara and sold out so quickly. i’ve constantly been looking for something comparable & linked some pretty ones on sale at gilt right now…if you end up snagging them let me know how they are! i kept my accessories simple and let the stripes and pop of color do all the talking.

after getting a brief glimpse of sunshine this past saturday let’s hope we see more of it soon b/c summer clothes make me a very happy lady. stay tuned for a mother’s day gift guide & another style post coming your way this week!
