well, it’s that time again & summer weddings are in full swing. i was so excited to wear this summer dress this past weekend!

we were so happy to make it home to watch two friends tie the knot a few weeks ago & i can’t say enough about how romantic & special it was. i had never been to the garden of ray eden’s before and it was absolutely magical. the grounds are kept so pristine and the scenery just oozes romance. we had a fantastic evening with friends & this dress was perfect for the occasion.

i snagged it while out at the fashion outlets of chicago a little while back in the neiman marcus last call store. i love the cuts on Naven dresses and this one was no different. the collar and neckline are so unique & the gold detailing is so delicate. there are two gold buttons to fasten the collar and a gold zipper i think adds a little something extra. i kept the shoes and accessories casual since it was an outdoor wedding but could totally switch it up to gold heels and some sparkles to transition this to a more formal event.

watching people get married always makes me mooshy over trevor & i can’t believe it will be 3 years in december! time flies & it’s a nice reminder to enjoy every minute of it.
