For once I am really thankful to see Monday and start a new week fresh. Have you ever had a week where almost everything seems to fall apart? Well, that was me last week. Every day of the week several things seemed to explode and after moving cross states and getting Zain situated I am ready to forget about it and start new. 

We are feeling slightly more settled although we are still at my parent’s and have all of our stuff stored in their garage. We packed some essential pieces in suitcases and are living out of that for the time being. I’m hoping to get a feel on when we can expect to move into our house today! 

We are also still trying to figure out childcare for Zain. Sadly, our top choices are full for the upcoming school year and with Trevor starting work at the beginning of August and myself at the end of August we are hoping to figure something out soon. If you happen to have any great recommendations please send them my way! 

As for today’s look, it’s one I have been living in. This is a dress that I can wear over and over again and still feel comfortable. Splendid always makes the softest pieces and I thought this blue stripe was so classic. I also loved that the top had a button closure because those can be so tricky with wrap dresses. I paired it with my go to white slides here but have been wearing it with sneakers too!
