Can we all say an amen for this Chicago weather? I am so happy to finally be wearing a sleeveless turtleneck sweater – they are one of my favorite pieces for this cool in between weather! I was so excited to head down to The Langham last week to shoot a fun post for the blog with Blair and then meet some girlfriends at Cindy’s on the Rooftop for brunch.

It was my first time at Cindy’s and it was decadently scrumptious and beautiful. If you haven’t ever been it’s right on Michigan Ave and the decor is so beautiful. Their deck overlooks all of Millenium Park and it was such a beautiful day to hand out. The drinks were amazing – it was also my first drink off Whole 30 so that could have helped and the brunch was decadent. Everything was super rich and came in family size portions so I totally suggest it for big groups of people.

This sweater was the perfect snag at the Madewell when I was down  there last week. Michelle Starbuck was hosting an event there with my friend Laurie to feature her Spring collection and of course it is stunning! I snagged this gorgeous earrings that I haven’t stopped wearing. I only ever wear studs and these are the perfect way to make them feel fancy but not heavy.

Let’s hope this is the start of many more warm indoor/outdoor brunches and that Spring is right about the corner!
