Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner I was excited to finally bust out this red dress! The scuba material is so comfortable and I loved the off the shoulder detail although I will admit is makes it a tiny bit difficult to move the arms, ha. At least the fact that it’s scuba makes moving a wee bit easier since the material is so soft!

Last week Blair and I headed to the Lincoln Park Conservatory to stay warm and capture some of it’s beauty. After battling the snow that morning it was a much needed warm oasis. If you haven’t ever been I highly suggest an afternoon there exploring and if this one isn’t super close to you the Garfield Conservatory is just as stunning & a bit bigger.

I decided to keep the heels simple and add a red lip to pop with the dress. I know you have seen these earrings before in green here but I am so in love with them and liked how the navy contrasted with the red! I am not usually a big earring kind of girl but these feel so light and I love the tasseled detail.

Hope you guys all had an amazing weekend – I am still dying of soreness from our rock climbing certification class over the weekend. If you haven’t ever been climbed in the city I highly recommend First Ascent in Logan Square. It was my first time there since we used to go to a gym in the suburbs before anything in the city existed and I really enjoyed it. The class was painless and I’m sure my friends are so happy I’m finally getting certified so I can actually help out and not just climb and rest, ha.
