you should run not walk to snag these printed trousers!

after brunch last weekend with blair at RM Chmpagne Salon we continued our sunday funday on  the rooftop of the J.Parker and enjoyed drinks in the sun all day! it was one of the most beautiful days so far in the city and made me crave summer even more. it was the perfect opportunity to give these trousers a spin around town & i’m so glad i did.

i found these at over 50% off at Nordstrom’s and they’re still available for just $30!!! i had attempted to do some spring shopping since it had been a while (seriously!) blogging has really curbed my shopping. i’m so particular in general but am now aware of how many pieces i like to mix & match so i hesitate to buy anything unless it’s really going to add something to my wardrobe. these definitely DID. prints & bold patterns are so on trend for this season and black & white is always a winner in my book. they’re comfortable with an elastic waistband but have a flattering cut so i didn’t feel frumpy.

since they have such a fun print i paired them with classics from my closet but will probably switch it up next time with some bright colors. they were perfect for spending a whole day out in the city because they are thick enough to prevent any see-through but so breathable. let me know if you end up with these & how you like them!
