Happy Wednesday guys! Can we all just talk about how excited we are it isn’t snowing today? Last Monday was a rough one and I’m glad this week is going on a different note. This week already feels like a short one because I fly out on Thursday and have a ton to get done before then. I am headed to Dallas (more on that later!) and am crossing my fingers for warm weather and some delicious Mexican food. 

Now that spring and summer are rolling around queue the wedding invitations. If I’m being honest, I am now receiving way more baby shower and children’s birthday party invitations but the wedding ones are still coming haha. I honestly always struggle with dresses because I just don’t wear them that often. 

Sure cotton dresses and casual silk ones are things I live in all summer but fancy wedding guest appropriate dresses are worn few and far between and dresses like that are always so costly. I usually try to borrow dresses when I can and invest in a few affordable ones each season. When I saw this dress pop up on Nordstrom, I immediately ordered it. I love the light blush color and the neckline and ruffles are so pretty! 

I paired it with my staples—are you guys tired of seeing these earrings, purse and shoes? Haha! I have been getting a lot of questions on purses and what I choose to invest in so if you’re curious I shared most of my tips in this post! I also haven’t bought a purse since this one almost two years ago…
