with 4th of july right around the corner and the sun shining more and more in chicago it was time to bust out the shorts. i am the first to admit i’m not the biggest fan of shorts but fell in love with these one teaspoon bandit shorts. they are way shorter than i normally like but for some reason feel comfortable. they are super loose around the thigh since they are so distressed which i love and significantly longer in the back. they feel like an old pair of shorts you have worn in.

i decided to throw on an oversized white linen top and my espadrilles for some time by the water. we had such a lovely day strolling and really relaxing this past weekend. i was excited to throw on these new Kendra Scott pieces and can’t wait for the entire new line to come out!
