A week or so ago I asked you guys on Instagram stories for new book recommendations and man did you all send over some good ones. I have been finding myself with more time on my hands (I’ve stopped watching TV after dinner and trying to find more productive things to do in the evenings) and getting back into reading is one of them. I used to read a ton in dental school and my girlfriends and I would trade books and always be into something new. When you are studying that much reading anything that is fun proves to be a great release.
Sometime after moving, starting work and then having Zain I feel like I can’t get through a book to save my life. I usually pop one open when I get into bed and then promptly fall asleep. Now that Zain is taking longer naps and Trevor is off work I’m trying to disconnect and read a bit more.
Since so many of you asked for what recommendations other people sent in I thought I would throw together a little Summer Reading List that we can all share and feel free to add anything else you like down in the comments!

Also, a lot of you sent in Crazy Rich Asians which I finished last month but if I’m being honest didn’t love. It’s definitely a quick read and the movie is coming out soon so you may want to check it out because of that but I just wasn’t that into it. I also saw that Sharp Objects was made into an HBO series that started this week and am so excited! If you haven’t read it, I totally reccomend it. I actually liked all of Gillian Flynn’s other books more than Gone Girl!
Hope this helps you on your quest for new reads and thank you guys so much for always coming through with the best recommendations for just about everything!
