My London & Paris Packing List

Sep 25, 2022

Good morning!

Hope everyone’s Sunday is off to a great start, we are headed to London today so it couldn’t be better 😉 I wanted to quickly share my packing list since I know many of your were curious and headed this way soon. I really try to map out an outfit for each day and evening so I’m not overpacking. The key is to pack several pieces that can mix and match with your bottoms and still have fun! I will be sharing most things in real time over on Instagram but reference this post for any outfit questions you may have!

Travel Must Haves:

Hard Case Luggage – we needed to replenish our larger cases and I did a ton of research before deciding on these. The amount of positive reviews is amazing but I had two friends who had bought these a few years ago and said they have held up amazing.

$5 Custom Decal – This has been perfect on my carry-on and not faded at all after a couple years. Just added one to the big spinner and I love how easy it is to spot my black suitcase now.

Travel Backpack – Another thing we did a ton of research on! Trevor needed a new backpack and this was our clear winner. The other comparable options we like were triple the price and when I shared this, so many of you had responded with rave reviews.

Outfits:

Travel options

Zella Joggers – we all know these are my tried & true, nothing better! Run TTS.

Align Leggings – the most comfortable leggings worth the price, I’ve owned mine for years and wore them throughout both pregnancies.

BING Sweatshirt – In stock similar – love her pieces and the sweatshirts fit like an oversized dream. Size down!

Z Supply Zip Upsimilar in stock – another thing I never stop wearing, so soft! Runs TTS.

NB 327 – do I need to say more? My most worn sneakers that never stay in stock.

Daytime options:

ABLE Simone Dress – love this dress for all seasons, it transitions so well into fall and winter with boots! Runs roomy, I sized down and you can use code ‘SHAHEEN15’ at checkout!

GG Sneakers – full review of these here!

Paige Split Hem PantsTarget dupe – They sadly no longer make my Paige pants with the slits any longer but this Target option looks almost identical for a fraction of the price.

Able Fisherman Sweater – Love the detailing and construction of this. Runs TTS, so soft, and you can use code ‘SHAHEEN15’ at checkout!

AGolde Jeans – my OG jeans I don’t go anywhere without. Very little stretch so size up if in between.

Line & Dot Sweater – Chanel look a like I couldn’t get enough of and I always find their pieces to last a lifetime! Runs roomy, I sized down.

Everlane Ballet Flats – a great everyday flat that you can walk all day in!

Rothys Flats – ordered these for the trip since I’ve heard such amazing things about them! Will report back.

Everlane Trench – a very old purchase I’ve never switched out because I find their jackets so classic and beautiful. Runs roomy, size down.

COH Jeans – my OG skinny jean that looks great with just about anything. I love the stretch in these and would stay TTS.

Mango Half Zip – Love this for every season, such a great layering piece! Runs roomy, sized down.

Madewell Loaferalmost identical – you all know how much I wear these shoes and I love that they never bother my feet even after miles.

Able Jeans – a great straight leg jean option under $100 that fits like a glove! Runs TTS and you can use code ‘SHAHEEN15’ at checkout!

One Third Blazer – one of my favorite jacket companies and it happens to be a small woman owned biz local to Chicago so a wonderful brand to support!

Target tee – these are my favorite $8 basic crew neck tees and I size down in them.

BR Wide Leg Pants – I’ve owned these for years and love the fit! Now that trousers are very in they have come in handy and I always turn to BR for dress pants since they have a Tall option.

Amazon Button Down – a classic that I always rely on, runs very fitted so I size up in it!

Converse High Tops – newer purchase for this trip that I can’t wait to wear all fall and winter. I like the ‘Parchment’ color which feels warmer and more of a cream than a bright white.

Sea Top

Sézane Valentine Blouse – got this for the trip and I’m obsessed! Runs small, I would size up if in between – I take a 4 in their tops.

H&M Khaki TrousersTarget alternatives – LOVE both of these khaki trouser options and ended up packing the H&M pair because they feel a little dressier. Runs fitted so I sized up one size for a relaxed fit.

Extra Tops:

ASTR the Label Top – bought this last year and wore it constantly so I’m thrilled they brought it back! Runs TTS.

FP Bodysuit – a great date night option I’ll pair with black pants for dinner.

Sheer Turtleneck – a random purchase I can’t wait to wear to dinner with Trevor 🙂

Accessories:

Sam Edelman Hazel Pump – my old tried and true pump that don’t bother my feet. They come in a million colors and textures and run TTS.

Neoprene Bag – After eyeing this bag forever I immediately purchased when the mini was released in this beautiful color! Comes with a zipper pouch, easily wipeable, and likely what I will carry everyday.

Evening options:

Shoulder Tie Dress – I have been dying to wear this since I got it last year and my birthday dinner is the time! Such a steal under $80 and so pretty in person. Runs TTS.

WHBM Strappy Heelsimilar

Sezane Capri Dress – also snagged this recently and I am IN LOVE! It is such beautiful construction and looks like a dream on. I feel like it can work all year with flats or into fall and winter with a tall boot! Again, I think their stuff runs small so I would size up – I’m in a 6.

BB Dakota Shirt DressMidi Version now available – I’ve owned this for a while and love how comfortable but also confident it makes me feel. I just saw it was released in a new length and runs TTS.
