Good Morning! 

In my head, that was yelled in a very Oprah voice. I’m feeling relaxed and refreshed after this weekend and ready to dive into a new week. It was our first full weekend settled into our new home and we were happy to have no plans. I did have to shoot quite a bit of content (Trevor loved that!) but it was for some really exciting stuff coming up. 

Besides that we tried to lounge around, explore our new neighborhood and spend as much quality time with Zain as possible. This week will be his first full week at daycare—he’s going part time but last week he only went two days. His new schedule will be M, W, F and I’m really hoping he get’s into the swing of things. It makes me feel better that when I drop off and pick him up all the other kids in his class are happy and playing so I’m hoping he gets there soon and know it won’t happen overnight. 

Although I bought several pieces for fall during the Nordstrom Sale (are we glad it’s over haha!) it is still very much summer especially here in Louisville. This dress was one I had my eye on when it was first released and when I saw it pop up on sale I immediately grabbed it. The sizes keep going in and out of stock so if you don’t see yours, check back! I thought it would be nice to round up a few summer dresses that I think will transitions perfectly into fall. One of my favorite combos is a dress with a cardigan and sneakers or boots if you need to be a little fancier and so many dresses can work in more than one season.
