A Quick Skincare Routine For Long Days

quick skincare routine

Morning guys!

Today is my day with Zain and I am trying to cherish these days since my start date at the office is quickly approaching. After our rough start yesterday (thank you all so much for your encouragement and advice over on Instagram) I may try to take him to the splash park and see how he likes it. He’s not been the biggest fan of water thus far and I am debating trying to start him in swim lessons. When did you all start and would you recommend it?

Any who, on to today’s post! It’s all about a quick and easy skincare routine that is also affordable! Since you all have been asking for more skincare favorites from me I thought this would be the perfect routine to share. So, after living in Chicago for 8 years (can you believe that?) I have come to find a quick and easy skincare routine that get’s me in and out of the bathroom in minutes. I don’t know about you guys but after leaving work at 7pm and now being with Zain till bedtime I often have little energy to use the complicated skin stuff.

I have a few favorite products that have seen me through this routine and since I know skin care can get pricey I especially love how accessible this brand is. I always grab my Simple products at CVS and they are wonderful to use.

So first, a little about the brand. Simple Skincare has always been a favorite of mine (I’m sure you have heard me talk about their Micellular Water !) and I love that it’s affordable while still having no harsh chemicals, artificial perfumes or dyes. So, here’s what I try to make happen quickly:

Cleanse

Usually on quick nights I opt for these Simple facial cleansing cloths. It’s easy, quick and really gets all that grime off your face.

Repeat

I’ve been researching a lot about ‘double cleansing’ and plan on doing an entirely new post on that but I always try to get any last residue off with the Simple Micellular Water

Mask

After that I do a quick mask with the Simple Face Mask while I’m changing and getting stuff ready for the next day. Masks always seem like a lot of work but once I started using them while getting other stuff done it became more manageable.

Hydrate

Lastly, I use this Simple Hydrating Booster to revive the moisture in my skin and help any problem areas.

I always feel refreshed and ready for bed after this and it doesn’t break the bank or take hours so it’s something everyone can do. Right now you can buy one, get one 50% off with your CVS Card on Simple Core products and when you spend $15 you will get $5 ExtraBucks® Rewards (Valid 8/5 – 9/1)

What are your skincare secret weapons?
