who doesn’t love a lazy sunday?

i don’t know about you, but sundays are my favorite days. i will try to get all my errands out of the way on saturday so i have no commitments left because we all know sunday’s are made for brunching, right? this one in particular was also for the oscars but before you got glammed up for the evening you need something to take you from beauty appt to beauty appt and this is what this look is all about.

it’s nice to have some staples you can always count on like a striped tee! i am embarrassed at how many i actually own but i wear them all the time, don’t you? layer this with a skinny jean, bootie, and throw your hair up & you’re good to go. one of my favorite components of this look though is the vest! i’m really into these for transitioning out of this funky weather into warmer temps (please!) and this particular one hits all the right marks! the longer length in the front, the laid back feel, and the tailoring on the back is perfection.

i know you may be wondering what’s around my bun…it’s a gold bangle! i can’t remember where i saw this (most likely, pinterest) but i thought it was so fun & unique and added something extra to a simple bun. i own way too many bangles anyhow and they fit right over my bun perfectly…if you try it out, let me know how it goes over!
