Good morning!
How is everyone holding up? It was a bit of a busy weekend over here and I am solo parenting for a week which leaves little time for much else. However, there is something fun and special about alone time with Zain these days. Since he is the older sibling and so independent I really cherish the time I have alone with him and it’s been fun.
As for today’s post, we are chatting all things wide leg crops since I shared a few ways to style them in this morning’s Reel. These pants are some of the oldest in my closet and I find they never disappoint. I wear them season after season and thought it may be helpful to share easy ways to style them and round up a few great pairs.
My exact pair is Everlane and they seem to have a similar new version here – I always stay TTS in their pieces and these are a 4. I find this style looks better when it’s not super fitted and has a bit more of a relaxed feel so if you run in between sizes, I would go up. I also wanted to chat length quickly – my preference and advice is to always go longer than shorter. Hitting somewhere between your mid-calf and ankle is ideal and will lengthen everything. Since it’s a cropped style it can get ‘pirate‘ very quickly 😉
Over the weekend I wandered into Madewell and stumbled onto this pair which I was so impressed with! I received a lot of feedback from you all that you felt the same. They are probably the closest fit and comfort level to mine and I highly recommend if you are searching. I would say they run TTS but have a lot of stretch so if you are in between, I would size down.
