With summer time rolling around I was itching to get my hair trimmed again and debated going super short. With work it’s hard for me to go much shorter than this since I constantly have to have my hair tied up but one day I would love to try a bob!
I was excited to try the Hair Cuttery in our neighborhood and was blown away to know they have over 900 salons, you can find the one closest to you right here! My stylist, Angela was adorable and gave me the inside scoop on some new spots in our neighborhood like Volumes Bookcafe which is a wine bar that has reading nooks and board games to play, it was like she knew my soul!
We decided to trim everything up and do some fun beachy waves since I was headed out on a date with Trevor. It was super fast and I didn’t need an appointment at all. They were happy to fit me in and I love that because my end of day schedule is constantly changing so I can drop in whenever I have time.
I decided to throw on a fun summer look and a bit of a nautical vibe. I loved the cold shoulder look of this top and how it was a tad longer in the back than front. I threw it on with my ripped classic blue jeans and some blush booties and felt great.
After Angela finished up my styling I was excited to see they carried the green shampoo I just started using by Paul Mitchell. I have been loving the Tea Tree shampoo, conditioner and soap and had no idea they had other lines. She told me the moisturizing line was probably too heavy for my thin hair (good to know) but recommended the Lemon Sage Thickening one so I snagged that! I had been recommending the mint to everyone and am excited I can now grab it down the street when I need more.
Hair Cuttery is excited about the new source #MyHCLook catalog of inspiration on their blog and you can get in on the action by uploading your before and after pictures to tweet or Instagram with their hashtag. You can keep up with all their new promos and updates on their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest.
What have you guys been doing to refresh for the summer?
