Know when you find something amazing and buy it in ever color? This is that dress.
You may have seen this dress before. I bought the long sleeve version while I was pregnant and was ecstatic when I saw it released in a sleeveless version. I kid you not when I say this dress is made of some magical material. It looks amazing on every person I have seen it on—all sizes and shapes. It’s a simple cotton shirt dress with the cutest cross paneling across the bottom that is ultra flattering. I immediately bought it when I saw it back in stock and would reccomend sizing down if you are in between.
I decided to throw it on when I headed down to Lollapalooza a few weeks ago. Short shorts, body suits, bikinis and glitter seemed to be the trending fashion statements for the young kids but since I’m a mom and 32 I stuck to sneakers, this shirt dress and a neck scarf. Although festivals can get a bad rap I really love listening to live music. Blair and I went down during the early afternoon to hang out and enjoyed a lunch at Soho House after.
This outfit is my everyday dream since I can go out in it and then work for the rest of the day comfortably. These sneakers were a Nordstrom Sale buy and I have been living in them. I was a little worried about them getting dirty but they’ve held up really well and I recently sprayed them with ScotchGard since my friend Jess swears by that trick. They definitely do run a little big so I sized down an entire size but I would reccomend at least a half size.
Since having Zain, my lady days with Blair have really dwindled as one could assume so when I’m able to sneak away for a few hours it’s such a treat. It was great to just chat and get a little work down too!
Hope you are all having a great week and let me know if you have any questions about the dress!
I love this dress! I probably should buy it in another color—I wear it constantly!
Right? I think the same thing!
