Being back in Louisville always makes us happy and this trip was no different. I don’t think I ever took this green parka off and was over the moon with how warm it was at home! Although we spent much of our time cuddled on my parent’s couch watching Elf we decided to make it out at least one night.
We ventured down to Shelby Park in Louisville where artists are creating these pop up murals that are seriously stunning. I had seen them covered on the news and was dying to explore. It was a pretty rainy and fairly dark day so I paired my casual basics together for what is one of my favorite outfits. I wear this cozy tee more than I care to admit and finally found a pair of boots similar to these!
We met some friends at Rye Restaurant in NULU and enjoyed a delicious dinner before running into multiple childhood and high school friends in the same spot (I forgot how small Louisville can be) It was so nice to catch up with friends intentionally and unintentionally and we were so happy we motivated ourselves out of the house.
If you guys ever find your way to Louisville be sure to let me know I have a million and one recommendations for you although the city seems to be so rapidly changing and I am kind of like a tourist now.
You look like a Madewell model, Shaheen! LOVE IT!
Also, thank you for always encouraging Mitch to let me go for that Chanel bag when I turn 35. 😉
XOXO!!!!
