Ahhh, remember the days when you could enjoy having your legs exposed? Sadly I think those days are behind us which just means I’ll be switching out these sneakers for a good pair of boots soon. When I was home in Louisville a little over a month ago I wandered in Anthropologie and fell in love with this dress. I’m not usually a wrap dress kind of girl (or ruffles really) but something about this dress made me happy!

I think the detailing is adorable and I love that it’s a thick flannel material which is perfect for winter. It’s super forgiving with the ruffle over your midsection and I like that the waist can be cinched as much or as little as you like. You know some days you just need a little more room…

I actually threw this on a few weeks ago when I was heading downtown for the Huggies Parent Council meeting. More on that soon but you guys, I got to spend the night at the amazing EMC2 Hotel in River North by myself. Yes, you read that right. One glorious night of sleep! Just kidding, I barely slept at all but the bed was magnificent. The hotel is new to me and I think just opened a few weeks prior but also so modern and high tech. When I walked in there was a robot running around the hall delivering things to people’s room! You could use your own Alexa in your room to order something from room service like a toothbrush and the robot would show up at your door and open it’s lid to deliver you your request. Have you ever seen anything like this?! 

I digress, I seriously reccomend this dress to everyone and it’s currently on sale for $49 so there isn’t much reason not to. Definitely size down if you’re in between sizes and hope you guys are all having a good week!
