well, i couldn’t be more obsessed with florals this season and what better way to wear them than a romper?

this romper was actually a find last season on the sale rack at forever 21. i swear you find the best stuff when you aren’t looking! i don’t know about y’all but when i get an idea in my head and go searching i find nothing but on days i just wander i come across the perfect pieces…

i love how rompers allow you to choose one piece and go. no pairing things together, just slip one item on and you’re ready to walk out the door. they also tend to fit nice and loose around your legs which i love and i tried to link several i found at great price points above!

while we were home in kentucky for the long weekend trevor and i were determined to try some of the new restaurants that have sprouted up since we last visited. our first stop for brunch was gralehaus & it didn’t disappoint. the cafe connects via an outdoor patio to the bar holy grale which is situated in an old church. the vertical garden on the patio paired with the beautiful original architecture from the church made for the perfect setting to relax and enjoy what was a delicious breakfast with my husband.

i thought this easy but breezy outfit would work since it was already almost 85 degrees outside & it did! after lunch we walked across the street to capture some shots in front of another church and hopefully give you a glimpse into just how beautiful louisville is.

the weather has finally shaped up so i can break out my favorite crossbody to date. while trevor & i were on vacation in italy we decided to splurge a bit when i found the Hermès Evelyne bag i had been dreaming about in the perfect shade of green. the bag was virtually absent from the US market so i considered this a “sign” and snagged it. i wanted to avoid a usual black or brown and go with something unusual but not too bright in hopes i would never get tired of it. and trust me i haven’t…

the last little details were these dainty gold jewels. i’ve been wearing this druzy ring and chicago nameplate since i received them & love how they are simple yet add a little something to my look.

let me know how you are wearing florals this season and let’s all have a moment of silence for the short week…we’re almost there people.

xox,

shaheen
