with festival season right upon us in LA & right around the corner for Chicago i thought i would share a bit of my own inspo. i hope by the time lolla rolls around it will be warm enough to be in a cute pair of cut offs or printed shorts we are not there yet.

festival wear is all about comfort for me. being outside all day in the sun and indulging in a few adult beverages is never a good idea in heels or wedges. my first piece of advice is make sure your footwear is broken in and comfy. i’m in love with these Madewell flats from Shopbop and love the knot on the foot strap. they remind me of the beautiful Joie flats I have been eying forever but at a fraction of the price. i will say they need a bit of breaking in so make sure you take these for spin first.

next, keep your look simple with a tee or tank and add color with your accessories. a great crossbody bag is the perfect addition and nobody does that better than Antik Batik. mine sold out so quickly but i linked a gorgeous one above i have my eye on already. mirrors, feathers, and other beautiful details make these bags perfect for summer.

lastly, i always wear a hat. it keeps the sun off my face but really makes not having to fix your hair totally acceptable. just air dry those locks and throw on a cute fedora and sunglasses and you are set!
