spring is here people!!! so thankful for a relaxing and sunny weekend…

even though the sun is shining chicago is still taking her sweet time to bring us some warmer temps. i thought this outfit was perfect for the weather we’ve been having, casual with a spring feel but still enough to keep you warm all day. i’ve been loving a shirt tied around the waist lately & i’m not sure if it’s the teenager in me but it gives off an effortless chic vibe. it’s also great to have when the sun goes down & the temp’s drop.

first things first, my hair is GONE! i always seem to chop my hair off when i get into the salon. i was feeling daring & spring is arriving so i thought why not. i’m still getting used to it and lathering way too much shampoo but i’m loving it’s lightness and hope it’s looking fresh!

i decided to keep it simple with a few of my favorite spring staples. these white boyfriend jeans were a j.crew sale find a few years ago and i love the relaxed fit through the legs and the distressed feel. i linked two pairs but the j.crew ones are more than half off right now!!! although they don’t have the rips they are amazing & you will always need a cute pair of white denim. these heels are so perfect for spring and can dress up any pair of jeans or keep a dress casual which i love because those are the two things i generally do in the spring!

now, let’s talk about these sunglasses. i’m UH-BSESSED. i originally spotted a different pair while in paris and was so happy to find the actually fit my face (i have a pea sized head :/) for some reason the pair i received were way to big on my face so i was devastated. i took them into barney’s here and they didn’t have the same style but then i spotted these! to my happiness they fit my face perfectly and i was out the door. i hope you like these because i’m sure you will be seeing a lot of them. the reflective lenses are trendy but i love that paired with the classic old hollywood shape of the lenses and tortoise frame. they have so many mix and match options i’m restraining myself from getting another…
