We’ve almost made it through the week guys! I don’t know why but this week has seemed to creep by. It may be because the weather suddenly switched to winter and getting out with Zain has become a little bit more difficult. If any of you mom’s out there have tips for what to do to stay sane during the cold months please send them my way because I am starting to panic a little! 

As for today’s post, major swoon over this maxi dress. I had originally taken this dress home for a wedding a few weeks ago but since summer was sticking around longer than anticipated it was a little too much. It’s the perfect combination of fancy and casual and I love the cut on the dress. Yumi Kim makes some of my favorite full length dresses for summer so it’s no surprise that this fits like a dream too. This pattern is actually from last season but they just released new prints in the same dress and I am having major feels over this one! Maxi’s are a great alternative to short dresses and boots during fall and winter and I think these dresses can be dressed up or down pretty easily. As far as fit, I’m wearing an XS and the length is great. I’m 5’8 and was able to still wear around a 3″ heel with the dress so definitely account for that! 

We snapped these photos last week when Blair and I headed down to Soho House to pamper her before baby Staky arrives. If you haven’t ever been to the Cowshed Spa there, I totally reccomend it. Relaxing in the lounge with your robe and slippers on before and after your appointment is a total treat! Everything inside is stunning and makes it very easy to relax. I tried the ‘Sleepy Cow Treatment’ since it was described as a great way to relax and trust me when I tell you, it helped. 

After spoiling ourselves a bit we headed to 3 Arts Cafe at Restoration Hardware for lunch (more on that burger later) and spent the rest of the day wandering the Gold Coast. It was great to get out and clear our heads and really try to soak in some time together before Blair gives birth. I’m so excited for them and we are officially on baby watch. I generally text here during the day just to check in and make sure she’s responding so cross your fingers we get to meet him soon!
