Hello from Louisville!

We got back from Chicago yesterday and it got me thinking about the rest of our summer travel plans and wondering what you all were up to. I have a small day trip planned for next month which I will share more about in the next few weeks but beyond that we don’t have a lot planned. Truthfully, I feel like we traveled a lot in the past 6 months and am kind of excited about staying put and enjoying our neighborhood and backyard time. I’m thinking about a few day trips possibly, any ideas? 

What do you all tend to do? I know once Zain is in school we will be more inclined to take a summer trip since it will be his only long break but for now we feel like any time of year is the same. 

This outfit was one I wore over the holiday weekend and thought I would share more details since some of you asked on Instagram. My love for Vince Camuto is no secret, I have worn and worked with them many times before. So, when I saw they released this new shoe—I jumped. I have been searching for a good white shoe for years. I mean, years. I wanted something casual that I could make work with jeans or dresses that also had a smaller heel. Well, when I saw these my dreams came true. The leather is so buttery soft and the heel is perfect to add a little height but not bother me at all. 

I paired it with a white eyelet dress, jean jacket and my baby blue bag! The blue and white pairing seemed appropriate for the holiday and I loved that this bag is big enough to fit everything I need but still tiny.
