Date nights are something Trevor and I are finally getting back into the swing of! After having a baby, your evenings start to be spent on the couch in your pajamas eating take out and going to bed at 8pm. If I’m being honest, that’s what a lot of our nights looked like pre baby too 😉 I think since having Zain we’ve put more importance on getting dressed and getting out of the house, just us two. 

You love this little person so much and they consume most of your newly adjusted life but we don’t want to forget about each other in the process. We’ve found it’s good for us to get out every so often and luckily we have found ourselves with a parent in town or sweet friend around to watch Zain while we’re out. 

It also helps give my peace of mind that he’s sleeping so well. We give him a bath at 5:30 and by 6pm he’s asleep so I feel less stress having someone hang out at our house while we’re out because they don’t really have to do much! 

This dress was something I ordered as soon as I saw it come online! This brand makes this infamous dress I have worn a million times and saw me through most of my early pregnancy and post baby. It honestly looks amazing on everyone and this dress is no different. The material is so soft, the gathering makes my arms feel toned and the tie cinches your waist! I see it coming in and out of stock all the time so if you size happens to be sold out, just keep checking.
