Anyone else’s household revolve around football Sunday’s? I don’t remember it always being like this and I have a sneaky suspicion it’s intensified with the emergence of Fantasy Football. It’s usually a family occasion with my brother (he’s obsessed) sister in law and my nieces and nephews! Although I don’t enjoy the fact that I can’t get Trevor or Omar’s attention for the life of me, it is so nice to have the whole family together all day and enjoy some delicious food.
Since most traditional football food is only the unhealthy side, I love trying new healthy recipes that disguise as the opposite. This Vegan Baja Dip is a crowd pleaser and I always serve it with bell peppers and chips so people can enjoy it how they like!
Just like most family gatherings around here I try to have a game plan ahead of time and minimize my grocery trips. Nothing is worse than having to go back time after time to pick up more stuff! I always stop by the Jewel-Osco to grab my ingredients and save big time. They’re offering $5 off every $15 of Unilever products right now and sharing some amazing recipes like this Baja dip on their Make More of Mealtime page!
Besides sneaking in a few healthy recipes I always try to make some flavored waters or iced tea’s for people to sip on and avoid the soda. How do you guys keep your weekend get together’s healthy?
Let me know how you enjoy this dip, we can’t get enough of it and have a lovely weekend!

Thanks Kelssey!
Both my dad and my boyfriend are majorly into football, and I’m constantly looking for ways to get them to lay off the wings and pizza, and pick up something healthy instead. Maybe I’ll sneak this in next Sunday and see how they like it *before* I tell them it’s vegan 😉
