Now that the heat is here in full force who doesn’t love a glass of rosé? As I’ve gotten older I have developed a bit more of a sophisticated palette (I mean let’s not carried away) and tried to find affordable wine’s that still taste great and don’t leave me with a belly or headache.
Has anyone ever noticed that it’s mostly American wines that give you those things? I’m sure due to their preservatives but when Trevor and I traveled through Italy after we got married we noticed how much better the inexpensive wine tasted and how it never left us with a headache. Anyone else want to move to Italy? It’s our retirement goals.
I recently decided to try out some bottles I found at great prices along with asking friends so I could round up a mini list of rosé’s I think taste great without breaking the bank.
Dark Horse
I’m not going to lie, I’m a sucker for branding and I originally bought this because I loved the bottle. Screw tops are so convenient especially when taking bottles on the go to friend’s parties and this one didn’t disappoint. It isn’t too sweet and has a nice crisp taste!
Bertrand Cote Des Roses Rosé
Another one I originally bought for the bottle 🙂 It has a beautiful glass rose on the bottom and the glass stopper is reusable! I have found that everyone loves the taste of this and it’s usually what I will grab to take to a party as a gift.
Gobelsburg Rosé
I had never had a wine from Austria before this. The wine connoisseur at our local store actually recommended it & we loved!
YellowTail Rosé
The brand just released this rosé and it’s such a great price like all their other wines. It’s crisp and fresh and not too sweet!
Chloe Rosé
I haven’t tried this one myself but my Jess loves their wines and this one is a great price!
If you have any you love be sure to leave them below in the comments and happy summer of rosé!
Love this post!! The weather this weekend will require a lot of Rose drinking 🙂 Your dress is so cute! Where is it from?
Thanks Katherine! I know it is going to be HOT! My dress is linked above right under the first photo 🙂
Chloe Rose is my fave! I also recently tried the “rose all day” one from Target for national rose day purely because it seemed appropriate and was pleasantly surprised. Was only $12 and delicious.
Ohhh why haven’t I seen that one?! I am going to try that ASAP thank you!
I love the Dark Horse Rosé!
Me too!
Tried Chloe based on your post, since I happened to be stopping by the wine shop last Friday. Very timely post. Loved it! Thanks!
Ahh, I’m so glad to hear that! Anytime 😉
