I miss you sunshine! Original post here

Good morning! It was a very quiet weekend over here since Trevor was on call and the weather has been gloomy to say the least. We did get to enjoy an impromptu low key date night Saturday since my dad called and requested Zain come over and spend the night. As someone who only had one living grandparent who lived in India it’s not lost on me how lucky Zain is. It makes us so happy that he has all his grandparent’s so close by and get’s to spend so much time with them!

I will also say that the Kentucky Science Center has proven to be an amazing membership for us thus far. When it’s cold out it’s the perfect way to escape and since it’s basically empty on Sunday morning we take full advantage. How was everyone’s weekend? 

Being caught in the gloom and doom inspired today’s post actually. Is it me or does it seem like everyone is escaping the cold and fleeing to warmer weather? We are headed to Austin next month and I am already knee deep in spring shopping. I have no desire to look at another sweater, pair of boots or cardigan. I figured you are all feeling the same way and would appreciate the sentiment!
