happy tuesday loves! i’m fresh off a trip back home to louisville for one of my dearest friends baby shower and wish the trip hadn’t been so short. it always seems like any amount of time home is never enough but this one especially.
with fall quickly approaching i’m trying to stretch pieces as many seasons as i can. this leather sheath was a tj maxx find last season and i wanted to find a way to wear it more casually. it’s not that often we are geting dressed up for cocktail parties these days so i thought adding a little edge with the plaid and comfort with the sneaks would make it daytime appropriate.
it was perfect last weekend for roaming around the city and brunch at Publican Quality Meats with trevor where i must say i had the best chicken parmesan sandwich of my life.
this week will hopefully fly by since trevor and i are leaving again on friday morning to head to NYC. i’m excited to see some of my oldest friends from grade school and of course eat amazing food. here’s to short weeks & beautiful weather!
