Happy Friday! I’m excited share these ‘Life Lately’ posts more often on the blog. I will try to keep the series to every two weeks since my life really isn’t that fascinating but I think it’s fun to just catch up and see what you guys have been up to.

Visitors: I’m excited for my in laws to visit this weekend! We will be stopping by Small Cheval or Smack Shack on Sunday for Father’s Day and hopefully eating lots yummy food and catching a good movie this weekend. This Smack Shack lobster roll we had a few weekends ago was amazing and I have been craving another since!

First Facial: I think I am a little late to the party but it was so relaxing and I am unclear why I never treated myself to it before. I stopped by Nunzia Beauty Bar which is located in Sola Salons which is such a cool concept. It is a ton of studios in a larger complex that are all independently owned by the stylists. They have everything from nails to beauty and hair and it’s great because you can get whatever you need done at once and it’s much more intimate than a standard salon. I had a facial with LED mask and loved every minute of it except the ‘extractions’ I think it’s different for everyone’s skin type but for me I felt like that part caused a lot of breaking out after. Have you guys had the same experience? I think I would totally get another facial just maybe not that part. I talked to several friends who said they all skip that part as well but I would love to hear your thoughts. She was amazingly gently and I loved that she used a lot of local products I already loved like Scratch Goods and everything was all natural.

Graduation: Trevor graduated! I know you guys saw his party I chatted about this week and probably saw this on Instagram but I’ll share all the details on the dress and night out next week. He’s off for a few days now and it’s been wonderful to spend more time together.

Getting Caught Up: With my in laws here this weekend, going home next weekend and a surprise trip the week after I am trying to get caught up on everything as much as I can. I can’t wait to share more about the trip soon so stay tuned!

Staying Fit: I’m happy to report that I have been sticking to my resolution. I haven’t been as good about BBG as I hoped but that’s mostly because it’s been so nice outside I have been running almost every other day alone or with Trevor. I have been trying to get farther each day and it feels great to be active again and encourages me to eat healthier at the same time. It’s crazy how one really influences the other and I’m hoping to stay on track! How are you guys doing?
